Sasaki Shachu Hatsugama at“Kourakuan”on January 12th, 2025
Kobori Enshu-ryu, Sasaki Soichi Sensei's "Hatsugama -first kettle- celebrating new year," was held at "Kourakuan," Ginza school.
We had meal at "Brasserie Paul Bocuse Ginza."
This year, I demonstrated Koicha, thick tea. The water in the kettle was boiling just right, and the pine breeze was a pleasant sound to the ears. As the Koicha was brewed, a delicious tea aroma rose up.
The last event was a lucky draw. Here's hoping for a good year.
