Autumn rain is falling as if beating on the roof of the tearoom. November is the month of the opening up Ro (sunken heath), and sounds of boiling water in the kettle can be heard as if to celebrate the arrival of the season of the Ro (sunken heath).

The scroll on the alcove reads "開門多落葉 (Kaimon Rakuyou-ooshi)", and its counterpart is "聴雨寒更尽 (Ame wo kiite kanko tsuku)." Meaning is: in the cold night, heard the sound of rain. When open the gate in the morning, the ground was filled with fallen leaves. The sound of the rain was actually the sound of falling leaves.

The flowers on the alcove are white chrysanthemums and beautiful shiny autumn leaves.

For sweets, prepared “Inoko Mochi (Boar's Child Mochi)” (Sentaro).
