After the Runar New Year (a little new year), we can feel the signs of spring. The sun shining on Shorai-an feels warm.

Hungung scroll on the alcove is "和敬静寂 - wa kei sei jyaku (Harmony, Respect, Serenity and Solitude)." This is a Zen word that expresses the spirit of the tea ceremony.

For sweets, prepared “Haru no Koe”(Ganyuudou, at Hamamatsu).
