After the first day of autumn had passed at beginning of August, you can feel the autumn breeze, day by day.

The hanging scroll on the alcove is 萬里無片雲, Banri Henun Nashi. It depicts a scene of a clear blue sky without a single cloud, continuing as far as the eye can see. It is a state of pure enlightenment, completely free of worldly desires.

The flowers on the alcove are three kinds: Shrimp Plant, Patrinia villosa, and Japanese agrimonia.

For sweets, prepared Seasonal Usugoori Yukata (Usugoori Honpo Goromaruya, Toyama) and Cool Breeze (Confectionery Shop Kameya Yoshinaga, Kyoto).
