There is a terms "cold in three days, warms in four days." It describes feelings during February and March, which we can't wait for spring comes.

The hanging scroll reads, "I want to show a grass sprouts growing under the snow, to the people who only wait for blooming flowers. The spring is come already in a mountain village with deep snow," by Ietaka Fujiwara. It is recorded in the "Nanpo Roku" as a poem that expresses the spirit of Rikyu's tea ceremony.
