Today's practice is at Chigasaki Civic Cultural Hall. Tomorrow is Risshun (the first day of spring according to lunar calendar). Maybe this is the reason, today is warm sunny day like a spring. From the fourth floor, where the Japanese-style room is located, we clearly see the Tanzawa mountains.

Even though Risshun comes, there is still cold days in February. For cold winter days, Tsutsujyawan, a cylindrical bowl, is sometimes used for serving tea to keep tea warm. Today we practiced how to use the Tsutsujyawan.

For sweets, prepared Tamatsubaki (Confectionery Bunzendo Honpo at Shinbashi).
